...well, in our house at least! Daughter was duly delivered to Warwick University just over a week ago, and her slightly tearful parents returned home alone. To the sole company of our son anyway. I think we have got used to her not being here now, but thanks to the wonders of technology she is only a mouse-click away on skype. Very handy for impromptu cooking advice!
I feel much less stressed now she is gone, and have managed to complete a few jobs. Thanks in part to my lovely friend, who is coming over once a week to give assistance.
The Macmillan Coffee Morning also has passed for another year. We managed to raise £442 in total, which was brilliant.
The weather has improved, ie it has stopped raining at last, so the building project is progressing again. Typically, hubby has been asked to do some consultancy work which is getting in the way! Our new all-singing all-dancing electricity meter was fitted yesterday, so when the solar panels are generating enough power we have to dash round switching on washing machines and tumble driers so as not to waste the "free" electricity.
I don't know how I find time to work with all these jobs to do!
