Work still a bit slow ...

A slow start on the work front. I did manage to get 2 sets of limited accounts done for the end of this month. But not made much progress on anything else.

Problem is, daughter is home from Uni, so there are plenty of distractions and the need to give lifts to various places. Also have visitors coming on Thursday for a few days, and its Easter weekend, so unlikely to be much going on.

My new office is lovely and cosy, so much that I don't want to venture into the rest of the house, which is decidedly chilly due to the bitter Easterly wind which has been blowing all week. At least the snow has gone for now.

Moved at last!

A very exciting few days! The desks were moved on Wednesday, and the filing cabinets yesterday. Got my computer set up in place, and a lot of tidying stuff away still to do. Bookshelves will not be done for a few weeks as hubby is busy with work. The cheek of it!!

In the meantime I have to find somewhere to put all the client books. 

Raring to go now! Let's hope for a productive few weeks.

Plastered!

My office that is, not me! All the walls plastered, and painted too. Got about half of the wood floor down on Sunday so may be moving up there this week. Very exciting!

Had a busy week with my son's 18th, painting, eating out, and Mothers Day. Not too much accountancy done unfortunately.

A busy week this week too - haircut today, off to Harlow Carr with a friend tomorrow, course about RTI on Thursday. And hopefully the office move on Wednesday/Thursday afternoon.

And my little girl is home from Uni on Saturday for a month.  Brilliant!

And now it is snowing!
